ABOUT TRUSTER CATTLE COMPANY LLC

The Truster Family owns and operates our family farm near Jacksonburg, Ohio.

We raise Black Angus cattle along with field crops of corn and hay; which are produced primarily as feed sources for our cattle. 

Our family has been working this farm since 1956 when Kathi Trusters' parents; Ed and Edna Hendel moved to the farm and started their farming career. In 2007 Jon and Kathi Truster in partnership with their son and daughter in law Michael and Stephanie Truster took over daily operations of the farm. At this time, we focused our farming operations on the production of our cattle, and marketing our cattle directly to the consumer. 

Over the years we have expanded our herd, improved our buildings, added a new cattle barn, and made additions to our line of equipment. 

In December of 2019, we (in partnership with Stephanie's parents) acquired a local slaughterhouse that we have primarily used to have our beef processed; Camden Locker LLC. With the acquisition of Camden Locker LLC, we are fully vertically integrated in our production of freezer beef to our customers, allowing us to offer to our customers a value not often found elsewhere. We control all aspects of the beef we produce from start to finish.

We sell our beef by the whole, halve, or quarter, Hogs are sold by the whole or halve. WE ALSO HAVE RETAIL SALES AVAILABLE! You can buy by the pound, steaks, roasts, ground beef, sausage, pork chops, etc.!
